Should I purchase the add-ons with my At-Home Test Kit?
Our panel was developed by our Chief Medical Officer to provide the most complete panel for most people. Our standard kit measures Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Free Triiodothyronine (fT3), Free Thyroxine (fT4), and TPO antibodies. Reverse T3 and Vitamin D are available as optional add-ons to your lab test.
What is Reverse T3?
An elevated Reverse T3 (rT3) can indicate many things, such as stress, inflammation, poor sleep, and nutrient deficiencies. When this happens, the body shifts gears and moves into a lower metabolic rate to conserve energy.
An abnormal reverse T3 result indicates you may need additional support for your thyroid through nutritional and lifestyle interventions. This can mean meeting with a nutritionist to determine if certain foods are causing inflammation in the body, developing better sleep habits, and seeking emotional support.

What is vitamin D?
Vitamin D is an essential nutrient that our body requires for optimal functioning. Sometimes called the “sunshine vitamin,” vitamin D can be synthesized in our skin when we are in sunlight.
When we are deficient in vitamin D, multiple systems in our bodies can be affected. People with vitamin D deficiency may feel fatigued, depressed, or suffer from muscle, joint, or bone pain.
