Do I need to stop taking my medications or supplements to use the At-Home Test Kit?

We recommend first contacting your physician before discontinuing any medication.

Thyroid Medication

Our providers recommend testing first thing in the morning before taking your thyroid medication. That said, whatever you choose, be sure to let your provider know when you collected your sample in relation to when you last took your thyroid medication(s).

Supplements

Biotin can significantly interfere with our At-Home Test Kit and may cause incorrect test results. To ensure accurate test results, please stop taking Biotin for 7 days before collecting your sample.
